Own your voice. Write your truth. Turn your story into a movement.
I thought Literary Queens had said everything it needed to say. I was ready to retire this program. But it turns out women had more to write.
And somehow, we’re just getting started.
Introducing: Literary Queens: The Next Era
Literary Queens is a 5-week immersive writing experience for women who are ready to stop dancing around the story they’re meant to tell and start standing fully inside it.
This is not about becoming louder. It’s about becoming clearer. This is about who you are when you sit down to write.
We’re not just writing stories. We’re building a universe for them to live inside of.
In Literary Queens, you’ll learn how to shape your lived experience into a body of work that carries weight in the world. Not in a performative way. In a truthful, intentional, powerful way.
Whether your words are becoming a book, a Substack, or a cohesive body of essays, Literary Queens helps you anchor into who you are as a writer so everything you create flows from that place.
This is about understanding how your voice becomes recognizable, how your story builds trust, and how your writing can naturally evolve into opportunities — whether that’s a Substack, a book, or something you can stand behind with pride.
We’re not turning you into a brand. That’s so 2016.
We’re turning your voice into a force — and your stories into a movement people recognize, trust, and return to again and again.
This Is Where You Become a Writer
Not in theory, or in a fantasy, or in a “some day I’ll tell my story” kind of way.
In Literary Queens, we don’t start with writing prompts, we start with identity work.
Because here’s the truth. Most women don’t struggle to write because they lack talent. They struggle because they haven’t fully let themselves be writers yet.
They edit themselves before they begin. They wait for permission they don’t need. They tell their story halfway, safely and politely.
Literary Queens is the container where all of that ends.
This is where you stop asking, “Am I allowed to say this?”
And start asking, “How do I tell this in the truest way possible?”
What Literary Queens Is Really About
Literary Queens is for the woman who knows deep down that she is a writer.
She may not have claimed the title yet. She may not know what form her work will ultimately take. But she feels the pull.
This experience is about:
Embodying the identity of “writer” without fancy credentials
Trusting your own voice instead of performing someone else’s
Writing from truth instead of approval
Creating a body of work that actually goes somewhere
Whether your words are becoming a book, a Substack, or a cohesive body of essays, Literary Queens helps you anchor into who you are as a writer so everything you create flows from that place.
The 5-Week Literary Queens Experience:
Each week builds not just your writing, but your confidence, clarity, and creative authority.
Week 1: Becoming the Writer You’re Meant to Be
Before we write a single word together, we’re going to make a decision. Not about what we’re going to publish or where this will all go. But about who we’re willing to be when we sit down to write.
This week is an invitation into the identity of a “writer.” Not the someday version. The lived, embodied reality, right now, exactly as you are.
You’ll begin to:
Claim the title of writer without waiting to be chosen
Release the idea that you need credentials, permission, or proof
Understand what being a writer actually feels like in your body,in your rhythms, and in your self-trust
This is where your shift happens. Everything else flows from here.
Week 2: Voice Reclamation
Now that your writing identity is anchored, your voice emerges.
We’ll strip away:
Borrowed language (mimicking the voice of someone else, even subconsciously)
People-pleasing by avoiding the stories you really want to tell
“Pretty” writing that hides the truth
You’ll learn how to write in a way that feels grounded, unmistakable, and deeply yours.
Week 3: Writing the Truth
This is the emotional core of your work.
You’ll learn how to:
Write the thing you’ve been dancing around
Tell the truth without trauma-dumping or over-explaining
Trust the intelligence of your reader
This is where your writing deepens and your confidence explodes both on and off the page.
Week 4: Narrative Power & the Body of Work
This is where we shape it all. Where your scattered ideas start to organize themselves. Where your themes emerge and your vibe develops.
You’ll begin to see:
What your story is really about
How a book, Substack, or series naturally takes form
How your lived experience becomes something cohesive and compelling
This is the week women usually say: “Oh. THIS is what I’m writing.”
Week 5: From Story to Movement
This isn’t about going viral, this is about how your story becomes something people return to again and again. How your resonance builds trust and your voice becomes a force that matters to people.

Check out what some of my clients have had to say about working with me:
“Cara's literary coaching takes a blah blog to a sparkling substack with her keen eye and bestie coaching energy your writing life will be inspired from snooze-letter to literary it girl. Cara snatched my branding, inspired my bookshelf with new reads, professionally edited my writing, and held space for me during a 1:1 call where I even uncovered the idea for my next writing project. I signed up a second time! Connect with Cara to rock your writing life!”
- Marianna Pease, Heypandemicmom.substack.com IG @mariannapease
“Within one month of hiring Cara as my writing coach, I launched my Substack and released the first 25 pages of my book, both titled Princess Interrupted! I love working with Cara because she’s a living embodiment of what it means to fearlessly and unapologetically create art from lived experiences. I love her supportive, open approach to writing coaching and working with her has helped keep me on deadline and enabled me to go bolder and bigger with my voice. This is just the beginning!”
- Allison's Substack, Princess Interrupted
“I worked with Cara as I prepped for a huge project outside of my comfort zone: performing onstage with Generation Women at the iconic Joe’s Pub. She helped me turn my story from a kernel of an idea into an absolute Event — and brought the most supportive, excited, Go For It energy to each of our calls and to her feedback. Not only is she your creative sherpa, but she is the ultimate Hype Girl: someone that every writer needs in her corner. Working with Cara has helped me become more fearless in my writing, believe in myself more, and dive into a writing life that I’ve always dreamed of having.”
- E.M. Gallagher, Ugh. Anyway
“Having Cara as my writing coach and mentor has been awesome. We collaborated on the first few chapters of my book, which was an amazing journey. I am so grateful for her wonderful feedback, encouragement, accountability, and support as I worked towards my writing goals for this book. The fact she even took the time to edit my writing and provide feedback was an absolute game-changer. Cara has been there for me during those moments when I felt stuck and even doubted myself. I am so thankful she was there to guide me during those challenging times. I am excited to continue working with Cara for many years to come!”
