THE RICH WRITER CHALLENGE
Your ideas are hot. Your expertise is valuable. Your opinions could make you rich.
A 10-day guided Substack challenge for smart women with something to say — and something to sell. Turn your expertise, stories, hot takes and wisdom into a body of work that builds your authority, grows your audience, and makes you money.
You’ve spent years becoming really fucking good at what you do.
You’ve built the business. Worked with the clients. Written the book. Earned the degree. Developed the framework. Made the mistakes. Gotten the results. Changed your mind. Changed it back. Learned things the expensive way so someone else doesn’t have to.
You have expertise. Stories. Receipts. Intellectual property. Opinions people would pay attention to if you actually said them out loud.
And I KNOW you have a few hot takes you’ve been saving for the group chat.
You’re sitting on a gold mine, babe.
And yet every morning, you open Instagram and attempt to cram all of that brilliance into a Reel.
Girl. We need to talk.
Because you did not spend the past 5 or 10 or 15 years becoming brilliant at something so you could reduce your entire body of knowledge to “3 tips for ______” over some boring b-roll from your camera roll.
Your ideas deserve more real estate than that.
They deserve a byline.
They deserve an audience.
And some of them deserve a price tag.
That’s why I created The Rich Writer Challenge, a 10-day guided experience designed to help you take the gold already sitting inside your head — your expertise, experience, opinions, stories, frameworks and intellectual property — and turn it into writing that builds your authority, grows your audience and creates new ways to make money.
Because babe, I have the receipts.

Books written
~$1M
Earned through publishing
$700K+
From self-publishing alone
I’ve written 10 books and earned close to $1 million through publishing — over $700K from self-publishing alone — and today I advise and publish other authors through Pink Ink Press.
But books are only part of the story.
My writing has sold courses, filled memberships, brought me private clients, grown a podcast to millions of downloads, built an audience, opened doors, and created businesses I never could have planned when I first started putting my ideas on the internet.
My ideas have made me money. A lot of it.
Not because every single thing I wrote had a price tag attached to it. But because writing gave people a way to discover how I think, what I believe, what I know, and what I can help them do.
I didn’t build my career by becoming the best content creator.
I built it by becoming a woman with ideas people wanted more of.
And that’s what I want to teach you.
How to find your lane. Mine your gold. Find your hot takes. Write the banger. Hit publish. Build an audience around the way you think. And create a universe of offers, opportunities and income around your ideas.
No more squeezing your brilliance into disposable content and hoping the algorithm is in a good mood today.
We’re putting your name on your ideas.
And we’re going to see just how rich they can make you.
I hear this all the time
WAIT. SUBSTACK? BUT I’M NOT A WRITER.
Maybe you’ve watched the rise of Substack and thought it looked interesting, but not necessarily for you.
You’re an entrepreneur. A coach. A consultant. A founder. A therapist. A lawyer. A creative. A speaker. An expert.
You have a business to run.
You’re not sitting around dreaming about becoming Carrie Bradshaw lol.
Maybe you don’t want to write about your divorce. Maybe you don’t want to tell strangers about your ex-boyfriends. Maybe you have absolutely no desire to unpack your childhood trauma, dating life or latest existential crisis on the internet. Substack and thought it looked interesting, but not necessarily for you.
You don’t have to.
I love personal writing. I teach personal writing! I’ve built an entire career telling stories from my life, and if you want to do that too, there is absolutely a place for you here.
But somehow I think a lot of incredibly smart women got the idea that Substack was only for people who wanted to write personal essays.
It’s not.
You can write about what you KNOW.
And package that up in a way that gets you paid and creates a beautiful stream of additional revenue.
You can write about the industry you’ve spent twenty years working in. You can share the framework you use with your clients. You can break down the strategy that changed your business.
You can show us your numbers. You can tell us what worked and what totally fucking flopped. You can write about the trend you’re seeing before everyone else catches on. You can explain why you disagree with the same boring advice everyone in your field keeps copy-pasting.
You can take something you find yourself explaining over and over again in private conversations and finally give yourself a byline.
That is writing, babe.
And that kind of writing can make you money. A lot of it.
This is the part I really want you to understand.
You don’t have to be a writer. You just have to know something.
I am not inviting you to Substack because I think you need another fucking platform to feed.
You already have enough places asking you to “create content,” and I know it’s maddening.
I’m inviting you because I think you need somewhere to build a body of work that people take the time to read, absorb, and eventually buy.
There is a massive difference.
Content you pour your heart into (and rip your hair out over) for social media gets posted on a Sunday and forgotten by Wednesday.
A body of work compounds.
It gives people somewhere to go when they discover you and think, Wait. Who is this woman?
They start reading. Then they read another piece. Then another.
Soon they’re bingeing you.
Suddenly they understand how you think. They know what you believe. They know what you’re brilliant at. They start forwarding your work to friends. They subscribe because they want more.
And eventually, when they need the thing you do, they pay you.
This is what so many entrepreneurs are missing. You don’t necessarily need MORE visibility babe.
You need more depth behind your visibility.
AND NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT THE MONEY.
Because this is called The Rich Writer Challenge, after all.
I want your writing to work for you.
That might mean turning on paid subscriptions and creating recurring revenue from your readers. In fact, I recommend giving your readers a way to pay you from the beginning.
But that’s only the beginning.
Your writing can sell your book. It can fill your workshop. It can bring you consulting clients. It can grow your membership. It can sell your course. It can lead someone to your service.
It can get you invited onto podcasts. It can create speaking opportunities. It can introduce you to collaborators.
It can become the seed of your next book, methodology, product, program or company.
You do not have to make money FROM every piece of writing. You can make money BECAUSE of your writing.
That distinction changed the entire way I looked at my own work.
I’ve spent more than a decade building businesses around words.
Books, coaching, memberships, workshops, publishing, podcasting, paid subscriptions, consulting — the offers have evolved over the years, but the what’s underneath them has always been the same.
My ideas.
I write them down. I publish them. I let people into the way I think.
And then I build things for the people who want to go deeper.
That is what I want to teach you how to do.
The Ten Days
SO WHAT ARE WE ACTUALLY DOING FOR 10 DAYS?
First of all, this is not a ten-day creative writing class.
We are building an asset for your business.
Over ten days, I’m going to help you figure out what you should write about, what makes your perspective valuable, how to turn what you know into ideas people actually want to read, how Substack fits into the business and audience you already have, and most importantly, how your writing can lead to money.
And I don’t want you sitting on Zoom with me for ten days straight trying to absorb hours and hours of information. That’s not how good work gets made.
Instead, we’re going to open the challenge together with a live masterclass, and then I’m going to guide you through the process one step at a time with a daily Rich Writer email and your workbook. You’ll have something specific to think about, write, build or publish each day — and enough breathing room to actually do it.
Then, on Day 10, we’ll come back together live to connect all the dots, troubleshoot what came up, answer your questions and build your plan for what happens next.
Because I don’t want you finishing this challenge with another folder full of worksheets you never look at again.
I want you to publish something.
I want you to stop opening a blank Substack draft thinking, What the hell am I supposed to say?
I want you looking at your career, your client conversations, your notes app, your opinions, your frameworks, your stories, your mistakes, your expertise and the things you cannot stop talking about and thinking:
Oh my God. I could write for YEARS.
Here’s how we’re going to get you there.

Live Kickoff Masterclass Become the Rich Writer
We’ll kick things off together with a live masterclass where I’ll teach you the philosophy and strategy behind becoming a Rich Writer.
We’ll talk about the difference between creating content and building a body of work, why your ideas are intellectual property, how writing builds authority and trust, why I believe Substack is such a powerful platform for entrepreneurs and experts right now, and the many ways your writing can eventually lead to revenue.
02
Find Your Rich Writer Lane
Forget niching yourself into some tiny little box.
We’re going to find the intersection of your expertise, experience, curiosity, personality and point of view and turn it into a clear editorial lane for your Substack.
03
Mine Your Gold
You are sitting on so much more valuable material than you realize.
Today we’re mining your career, client work, frameworks, results, mistakes, lessons and lived experience for the things you know that other people would happily spend their time — and potentially their money — learning from you.
04
Find Your Hot Takes
Okay, this is where your writing gets JUICY.
Because information is everywhere. I can Google a how-to. I can ask ChatGPT to explain something to me. I can find 900 people on Instagram giving me the same five tips.
What I can’t get anywhere else is your point of view.
Because people might find you because of what you know. But they’ll remember you because of what you think.
05
Build Your Idea Bank
Now we take everything we’ve uncovered and turn it into actual things you can write.
Essays. Posts. Stories. Breakdowns. Opinions. Frameworks. Case studies. Behind-the-scenes pieces. Predictions. Lessons.
06
Choose Your Banger
Now we’re going to take ONE of those ideas and develop it into a signature piece of writing.
Not “5 Tips for Becoming More Successful.” I beg of you.
We’re going to find the idea with some heat behind it and develop the premise, hook, title, reader promise and structure so you know exactly what you’re trying to say before you disappear into a draft for four hours.
07
Write the Damn Thing
Today, I want you to write. That’s it babe.
No new platform to learn. No seventeen-part marketing funnel to build. No Canva.
You’re going to take everything we’ve uncovered over the past week and turn it into a real piece of writing with your name hot stamped on it.
It does NOT have to be perfect. It just has to exist.
08
Hit Publish
This is the day we stop hiding behind drafts!
We’ll tighten your piece without editing the life out of it, make sure your title earns the click, think about your call to action and then do the thing so many smart women spend months preparing to do:
Hit publish.
09
Build Your Rich Writer Money Map
Now let’s talk about money, honey.
We’ll look at all the ways your writing can connect to revenue: paid subscriptions, books, services, consulting, coaching, courses, memberships, speaking, workshops, products, partnerships and whatever makes sense for the business you want to build.
You’ll map the path between your ideas, your readers and your offers so you understand how writing can become part of your business instead of another random thing you do on the internet.

Live Closing Salon + Q&A Build Your Rich Writer Universe
We’ll finish the challenge the same way we started it – together.
We’ll talk about what happened when you published, what you learned about your voice and your ideas, what came up along the way and where you go from here.
I’ll answer your questions, coach you through what’s still feeling sticky, and help you think about how your writing, audience, offers and business can start working together over the next 30, 60 and 90 days.
BY THE END OF THE RICH WRITER CHALLENGE...
You’re going to know what you want to write about and why people should care. You’ll have a bank of ideas pulled directly from your existing gold mine of expertise, experience, hot takes, and intellectual property. You’ll understand how to turn those ideas into writing people actually want to binge, share and come back for.
You’ll have written and published a real piece of work on Substack – not someday, not when your website is finished, not when you finally feel “ready.”
And you’ll have a crystal clear picture of how your writing can make you money, whether that’s through paid subscriptions, your existing business, your books and offers, or something entirely new that starts revealing itself as you build your audience.
Most importantly, I want you to start seeing yourself differently.
Not as someone desperately trying to keep up with content. Not as someone who needs to figure out what the algorithm wants today. Not as someone with a ton of ideas she never actually does anything with.
But as a woman with something to say, something to teach, and ideas worth building a body of work — and a business — around.
ARichWriter.
When you join the challenge
here’s what you’ll get
I
The Rich Writer Workbook
When you join The Rich Writer Challenge, you’ll get access to The Rich Writer Workbook before we start so you can start looking at your ideas, expertise and business before we even meet.
II
Two Live Masterclasses with Me
Then we’ll spend ten days building together. You’ll get two live masterclasses with me — our kickoff on Day 1 and our closing session on Day 10 — where I’ll teach, coach, answer questions and help you connect everything we’re doing to your actual business.
III
The Rich Writer Daily Dispatch
Every morning in between, you’ll receive a Rich Writer daily dispatch from me with that day’s lesson, prompt and assignment, along with the corresponding exercises inside your workbook. These aren’t meant to become another pile of content you need to consume. They’re designed to keep you moving, one idea and one action at a time.
IV
Replays of Both Live Calls
You’ll also receive replays of both live calls, because I know you have a life, a business, clients, kids, deadlines, dogs, appointments and occasionally plans that do not involve sitting on Zoom with me.
V
A Room Full of Smart, Ambitious Women
And throughout the ten days, you’ll be doing this alongside a room full of smart, ambitious women with something to say — entrepreneurs, experts, authors, creatives, consultants, coaches and founders who know their ideas are worth more than another Instagram post.
We’re here to write them down. Put our names on them. Build audiences around them. And see just how far they can take us.
Let’s getrichoff our ideas.
